You will find Ojochal de Osa / Playa Tortuga in the south-west of Costa Rica, about 30 km south of Dominical. From San José you can reach us by bus or with a rented car. This trip takes about 4,5 hours and will take you through the cloud forests and across the mountain-pass called Cerro de la Muerte. In Palmar Sur, 30 km south of Ojochal, there is a small airport, with daily flights to San José.The village is close to the beaches of the Pacific, and close to the mountains. In Ojochal there are a lot of very nice restaurants, Costa Rican as well as foreign. Everywhere around you can see all kinds of animals, flowers and the lush green of the tropical plants.

The water from the taps in Costa Rica is drinkable. However we advise you to use bottled water. On the porch of Hotel El Mono Feliz we have cold bottled water for our guests!
